  • YDisciple - Jr. & Sr. High School Formation & Youth Ministry

YDisciple is our preferred program for faith formation for our Junior and Senior high school students. YDisciple is a process for youth ministry and faith formation that empowers Annunciation to bring the vision of the New Evangelization to life through a relational, relevant, and parent-driven comprehensive approach. It is a program based on small group discipleship for teens. We have found intentional small group discipleship is a huge blessing to our teens!

Beginning in 7th-grade, teens are split into small groups of friends and assigned to a mentor (ideally two). YDisciple groups meet on Sundays from 9:30 am - 10:45 am. Each meeting consists of:

    1. Connect (opening activities)
    2. Discuss (watch videos and discuss content)
    3. Commit (review discussion and set a "challenge" for the next meeting - this is usually based on one of the Disciplines of a Disciple).

See the Confirmation Page for the schedule for Direct Prep for Confirmation which happens in the Spring Semester of 10th-grade (or after 2 years of high school formation).
